JPEGmini Plug-in for Adobe® Lightroom® User Guide Overview JPEGmini is a patented photo optimization technology, which significantly reduces the size of JPEG photos without affecting their perceptual quality. The JPEGmini plug-in for Adobe Lightroom integrates JPEGmini optimization into the Lightroom photo processing workflow, enabling you to export your JPEG photos after JPEGmini optimization. Installation To install the JPEGmini plug-in into Lightroom, perform the following steps: 1. Copy the file jpegmini.lrplugin to your hard drive 2. Open Lightroom and select File > Plug-in Manager 3. Click the "Add" button below the plug-in list 4. Locate the jpegmini.lrplugin on your hard drive, and click "Add Plug-in" Activation To activate the license for your JPEGmini plug-in, perform the following steps: 1. In the Lightroom Plug-in Manager window, select "JPEGmini" 2. Enter your activation code in the field at the top of the Plug-in manager window 3. Click "Activate" 4. After a short wait the plug-in will be activated and the label will change to "Activated" Usage The JPEGmini Lightroom plug-in is implemented as an export plug-in, which optimizes photos using JPEGmini before saving them to disk. To use the plug-in, perform the following steps: 1. Open the Export Window by choosing File > Export. 2. Add JPEGmini to the export actions list by selecting JPEGmini in the "Post-Process Actions" list and click "Insert". 3. Set the the file format to JPEG by choosing JPEG in the "Image Format" pop-up menu and set "Quality" to your desired JPEG quality (100 is recommended for maximum quality). 4. Make sure that JPEGmini is the last action in the list, right before the built-in "Post-Processing" action. You can move actions up and down in the list by clicking the small up/down button at the right of the action. 5. Make other settings such as export location, file naming etc. as desired. 6.
